John Sands is founder and owner of Zero Point Productions.  Launched in 2000, ZPP is a full service music production company for television and new media.  ZPP has a roster of leading television composers, delivering original themes, custom scoring, audio branding, and production music for television, radio, broadband, mobile, and DVD.

ZPP handles all music needs for IMG Media in New York, where John serves as music director.  IMG Media, owned by IMG, is recognized as a global leader in the delivery of traditional and new media content and services, producing and distributing more than 11,000 hours of award-winning, multi-genre programming to more than 200 countries.

ZPP is co-owner of Auracle Music, a cutting-edge production music library.  ZPP's services also include music clearances of popular songs in television.

John Sands has over 15 years experience as a music producer / music supervisor.  Before launching ZPP, John was production manager and then executive producer for Rave Music from 1992-2000.  Headed by John Loeffler, Rave produced music for hundreds of television and radio commercials.  From 1989-1992, John lived in Hong Kong where he worked for MTV Asia; as a composer he scored the motion picture "Lover's Tears" (which he recorded with members of the Hong Kong Philharmonic), and television commercials, documentaries, and corporate videos.  He studied music at Boston University where he graduated.
